  • During my first two years at Kings' School Al Barsha, I have transitioned from a Year 2 class teacher to a Deputy Year Lead in Year 3, taking on key leadership responsibilities.
  • My role has included hosting year group and Learning Assistant (LA) meetings, collaborating with the PLT on strategic decisions, leading data-driven progress reviews with class teachers within my team, all while developing and fostering positive learning environments and learning opportunities to enhance student outcomes.
  • I have conducted book scrutinies across the Year 3 team and provided feedback to ensure high standards and consistencies are being kept.
  • I have also led LA observations and provided them with feedback and next steps to not only foster their professional growth, but also mine.
  • Additionally, I have spearheaded initiatives such as a new golf program and participated in open evenings, showcasing the school’s strengths to prospective parents.

Affiliations

I am a keen golfer who also enjoys partaking in a wide variety of sporting activities having played for many sports teams in both Football and Cricket whilst taking on the role of Manager and captain of my local cricket team. I also enjoy badminton, table tennis and snooker and like spending time and socialising with friends, meeting new people and being active as much as I can.
