I grew up as an expat in the Middle East (Dubai), fascinated by its fast paced, multi-cultural environment. I have travelled extensively and this combined with my Middle East experience has not only made me very adaptable, but it has also equipped me with a heightened intercultural understanding. I have a very sociable personality and I feel very strongly that positive relationships and good communication skills are the key to being a successful member of any team within the a school. Studying a degree in history has given me countless skills which I carry into my teaching career, and heightened my passion for research and development into not only the practicing of teaching, but also the methodology and research behind the education we as teachers provide. My biggest passion however, comes within the classroom. I aim to provide an outstanding and dynamic education to my students, not only academically but also socially. My priority is to create a safe haven for them to feel confident enough to not only thrive but also feel okay about making mistakes and learning from them.
• Continued to provide outstanding teaching to my own class alongside monitoring and mentoring teachers within the team to achieve the same.
• Coordinated and monitored planning to ensure a dynamic and exciting curriculum within the year group. • Assess data within the year group to identify trends and develop target groups of learners to improve progress and attainment.
