  • Responsible for reviewing FEED documents like specifications, datasheets, and project specifications to verify the inspection, testing, certification requirements, and specification compliance.
  • Responsible for reviewing and implementing the quality requirements and Project Quality Plan (PQP) and ensuring that the Project Quality Management System (PQMS) is established with ISO 9001:2015 and contract requirements.
  • Monitor and report to the Project Quality Manager on the effectiveness of the PQMS.
  • Participating in reviewing the Project Execution Plan (PEP) prepared by the EPC / FEED Contractor and ensuring that it addresses the applicable quality requirements to fulfill the overall Project requirements. The Project Execution Plan shall include all applicable forms needed to track and follow up on the Project requirements, i.e. transmittal logs, control sheets, reports, inspection forms, follow-up logs, and NCR logs.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) procedures and plans for electrical works.
  • Responsible for review of Procurement/Engineering Documents like Vendor Document Requirement List (VDRL) Material Requirements (MR), Specifications, Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), Datasheets to verify the vendor approval, vendor quality management system, vendor compliance to company project quality requirements, inspection level, criticality, certification, inspection testing requirements and review of the vendor deviation related to quality.
  • Ensure all manufacturing and procurement activities meet the required quality levels and project requirements.
  • Ensure that the EPC/FEED contractor evaluates the quality systems of Vendors and Sub-vendors and that they comply with the Project Quality standard.
  • Review and maintain QA/QC documentation, such as Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), Test Procedures, Calibration Procedures, and FAT Procedures.
  • Responsible for review of site ITPs, Work Procedure, Method Statement, SAT procedures, Cable Jointers, Cable Gland Technician Training and Certification.
  • Responsible for review of Site material approval requests (MAR) and Stock material requests (SMR)
  • Review the project hazardous area documents and vendor hazardous area documents. Check the hazardous area equipment requirements and comply with project requirements.
  • Coordinate with discipline engineers and supplier engineers on establishing project-specific quality criteria.
  • Participate with vendors in technical clarification meetings, kick-off Meetings (KOM), and Pre-Inspection Meetings (PIM).
  • Review of inspectors issued inspection reports, punch lists, and NCRs and coordinated with the contractor for close-out of the non-conformities.
  • Issue non-conformance reports (NCR) and track all non-conformance reports.
  • Identify non-conformances (NCR), perform root cause analysis for failures, and agree on corrective actions, coordination, and resolution of any nonconforming product.
  • Ensure that corrective and preventive actions raised under NCRs are implemented to address the root cause (as applicable) and to prevent recurrence. Follow up for NCR close-out.
  • Participating in Quality Incident & Failure Investigations (RCAs)
  • Quality surveillance visits to vendor's/sub-vendors' premises for monitoring manufacturing & Inspection activities concerning approved documents.
  • Monitor the performance of third-party Inspectors assigned for inspection activities at the Vendor's premises.
  • Coordination with vendors and TPI for inspections and material inspection release notes (IRN)
  • Technical review of the source inspector’s inspection reports, punch lists, NCRs, FAT Reports, and IRN.
