At present working for Bab Al Shams Desert Resort & Spa (Meydan Hotels & Hospitality) – as “Maintenance Manager” (Head of Department) –in the Technical Services Department as a pre –opening team member from September 15, 2004, to till date.

  • Implementation and monitoring of MEMS (Meydan Hotels Engineering Management System. This will include Fire, Life and Safety Matrix, Pre- planned Preventive Maintenance and Work Order Systems)
  • Implementation and managing planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for all resort guest rooms, kitchen, electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure efficient and continuous operations with minimal breakdowns
  • Observes activities to ensure adherence to policies and operating procedures of engineering as well health & safety
  • Conducting routine inspection of guest rooms, building plant rooms, F&B outlets, kitchens and public areas to proactively address repairs and maintenance requirements in accordance with the policies and procedures
  • Managing procurement services through procurement department by prepare scope of works and with the right specifications suitable for the resort
