Highlights:

• Ensured that the quality plan is adequate, and the sampling plan is enough to ensure the defect deduction, improve quality standards & maximize cost savings.
• Assessed defects and developed mechanisms to eradicate them by means of checklists, process improvements, procedure changes, work instruction changes.
• Worked closely with production engineers/other departments to help close CAPA in time, analyze detect to arrive at the right root cause, correct timely curative actions, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Conducted site/store inspections and periodic SHEQ training, as well as internal and external product testing and reporting, including tests from Dubai Central Laboratory.

Key Result Areas:

• Generate and maintain QA/QC documents of the entire project including, method statement, certificates, calibration, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instruction/observations and permanent materials delivered.
• Performed daily inspection and tests of the scope and character necessary to achieve the quality of construction required in the drawings and specifications, thereby reducing the customer complaint to 0.2%
• Participated in and validated compliance with ISO audits for certification.
• Created work instructions for a team of 17 site activity staff/incharges (operation team).
• Directed 180 workers, testing product and tabulating data concerning materials, product quality, process and reliability.
• Compiled and wrote training materials and conducted training sessions on quality control activities, 8 session a month.

• Monitored execution of contract work for compliance with design plans and specifications.
• Checked technical designs and drawings for adherence to standards.
• Developed cost estimates for planned projects to aid in costing and budget planning efforts.
• Reduced risks by reviewing permits process to comply with regulations.
• Created work schedules and adjusted as needed to meet project deadlines and keep shifts properly staffed.
• Developed SOPs and change controls pertaining to setup, maintenance and operation of equipment, facility and utilities.

• Draw plans for buildings as per specification and took approval for the construction from the Corporation of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
