Lead accessibility, capital projects, and inclusive infrastructure initiatives across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra, supporting Abu Dhabi Strategy by improving destination accessibility, government services, and quality of life for People of Determination.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements

• Lead engineering operations, capital projects, maintenance, and infrastructure enhancement programs across 12 ZHO centers, managing budgets, procurement, contractors, and project delivery.
• Manage projects from concept to completion, including stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, scope development, budgeting, design review, implementation, quality assurance, and project handover.
• Develop and approve technical scopes of work, engineering specifications, project budgets, and contractor deliverables in coordination with Procurement, Finance, consultants, and executive management.
• Appointed as Project Manager for Al Ain Autism Center, leading the project from concept development to operational handover while overseeing design, construction, accessibility integration, stakeholder engagement, approvals, and project delivery.
• Spearhead landmark accessibility enhancement projects across ZHO facilities, transforming operational and visitor environments through the delivery of the organization first 33 space accessible parking and visitor arrival scheme, executive VIP meeting facilities for high-level government engagements, tactile wayfinding systems, hearing loop technology, accessible reception areas, inclusive learning and rehabilitation spaces, and barrier-free internal and external environments that set new accessibility standards across the organization.
• Leading ZHO's accessibility collaboration with Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi for over 4 years, delivering accessibility assessments across 200+ tourism, cultural, hospitality, entertainment, retail, and public destinations to enhance visitor experiences and support Abu Dhabi's vision of becoming a leading accessible tourism destination.
• Assess hotels, museums, cultural attractions, shopping malls, restaurants, parks, beaches, entertainment destinations, healthcare facilities, educational institutions, and public spaces, evaluating the complete visitor journey from arrival to departure.
• Conduct visitor journey mapping and accessibility gap analyses, developing practical enhancement roadmaps that improve destination accessibility, visitor satisfaction, and inclusive tourism.
• Lead accessibility assessments of Abu Dhabi Airports, Abu Dhabi Ports, cruise terminals, marinas, and government entities, including Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, Abu Dhabi Social Support Authority, and other public sector organizations, providing strategic recommendations to enhance accessibility, visitor experience, and inclusive service delivery.
• Collaborate with government entities to enhance workplace accessibility and support employment and inclusion of People of Determination across Abu Dhabi.
• Lead accessibility assessment and rehabilitation of 100+ homes for People of Determination, developing tailored engineering solutions in collaboration with government partners to improve safety, independence, and quality of life.
• Lead accessibility assessments for government and private sector organizations participating in DAMJ Award, supporting accessibility improvements and organizational readiness across the Emirate.
• Review and approve consultant proposals, engineering designs, accessibility reports, and construction deliverables to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements and project objectives.
• Lead and mentor multidisciplinary engineering and accessibility teams, delivering technical guidance, on-site training, and professional development for newly appointed engineers and certified accessibility assessors.
• Represented ZHO at Zero Project Conference in Vienna, Austria, a global platform showcasing innovative and impactful accessibility solutions and policies. Participate as part of ZHO delegation following the international recognition of the organization's People of Determination Parking Permit Initiative, engaging with global accessibility experts and exchanging best practices in inclusive mobility, accessibility innovation, and disability inclusion.
• Invited by Gistec - Esri Official Distributor to attend a specialized training program in Amman, Jordan supporting ZHO Abu Dhabi Accessible Map project. Received advanced technical training in ArcGIS, accessibility mapping, destination auditing, and the digital classification of accessible destinations to support the development of Abu Dhabi's first accessibility mapping platform for People of Determination.
• Engaged in the specialized international benchmarking program "Discover Care and Rehabilitation Practices in Germany" in Berlin, undertaking technical visits to 10 leading rehabilitation, education, government, and disability support organizations to benchmark international best practices in accessibility, rehabilitation, inclusive education, employment, and disability services, applying key learnings to accessibility and inclusion initiatives in Abu Dhabi.

• Executed cased-hole wireline operations for exploration and production wells, including production logging, reservoir monitoring, perforating, pipe recovery, and pipe integrity evaluation.
• Planned and executed wellsite operations while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery in accordance with SLB operational standards.
• Maintained operational readiness, calibration, and reliability of assigned wireline tools and equipment to maximise operational efficiency and minimise downtime.
• Maintained strict compliance with SLB's Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSE) standards, risk management procedures, and quality assurance requirements throughout all field operations.
• Collaborated with multidisciplinary rig crews and client representatives to ensure successful job execution while maintaining strong operational performance.
• Prepared operational reports and verified data quality to support accurate well evaluation and client decision-making.
• Completed Field Engineer Training at SLB Fahud Base, Oman, followed by successful completion of Cased Hole Wireline Training School at SLB Middle East Learning Center (MLC), Abu Dhabi.
