· Associated with quality inspection tasks. Preparing all Documents required for ISO15189 Accreditation process & CAP (College of American Pathologist) checklist.

· Performs self audit for all lab sections as per CAP requirement.

· Performs daily IQC and EQC, maintain quality system.

· Performs verification and validation of new (method,Machines,procedures).

· Create quality standards, policies, and procedures and monitor these against the agreed targets.

· Ensure that mentioned standards, policies, and procedures align with the accreditation standards.

· Conduct Quality improvement plans .

· Monitoring and reporting on all activities, processes, and procedures undertaken by the company.

· Developing internal audit tools for monitoring implementation of and compliance to company policies and procedures.

· Determine data-driven solutions and implementing quality improvement plans.

· Preparing and maintaining quality management documentation as part of maintaining a quality system for the company.

· Maintain a high level of understanding of the company’s protocols, standards, and procedures.

· Continued quality improvement of all protocols, policies, and procedures that align with the company vision.

· Ensure compliance with the Department of Health Abu Dhabi, Dubai Health Authority, and other regulatory bodies

· Perform key statistical data analysis.

· Participate in Quality Department meetings for reviewing processes and progress.

· Perform any other role related to Quality Assurance and Quality Control as assigned by the Quality Manager and/or Quality Director.

· Develops, leads, oversees and project manages the quality, patient safety, and accreditation programs, in conjunction with the Sr. Manager of Quality, Patient Safety, to accomplish the goals and objectives of the Organization.

· Provide ongoing assessment and support for continuous quality improvement and risk management, and support its infrastructure.

· Assist in the development, review and maintenance of policies, procedures, guidelines and other documents as applicable.

· Initiate improvements to the QPS program, to ensure it evolves as new information becomes available.

· Contribute to the continuous improvement of safety culture.

· Provides leadership and promotes understanding for organizational readiness on Abu Dhabi Department of Health (DOH) and Joint Commission International (JCI) preparation, standards interpretation, surveys and response.

· Provides concurrent and retrospective reviews and abstraction to assess compliance with standards/regulatory.

· Actively coordinates the organization's readiness rounds program and is primarily responsible for the development, communication, implementation and tracking of action plans necessary to close identified gaps in care or compliance.

· Assists in all accreditation and regulatory activities, including surveys, survey preparation and readiness assessments.

· Develops comprehensive accreditation work-plans by establishing deliverables, accountabilities, and timelines.

· Manages onsite accreditation and regulatory surveys; supports command center activities.

Clinical Risk Management

· In coordination with the Sr. Managers, QPS, manages tasks to provide risk management and patient safety support including; analyzing and documenting clinical/reporting processes, developing and documenting action plans to reduce risk and improve quality of care, and participating in system planning and quality/patient safety meetings.

· Reviews and investigates internal patient safety event (incident) reports and analyzes level of harm, risk and liability exposure.

· Data Analysis / Process Improvement.

· Works with clinical and operational staff to develop and maintain performance measurement processes (identification of measures, benchmarking, KPI development, systems documentation, and reporting/dashboard deployment).

· Ensure KPI’s are validated and reported consistently.

· Work with analytics team to develop outcome measurement including identification of key metrics. Establishes practical data collection and communication plans for improvement teams.

· Helps identify best methods and processes for performance improvement including developing project plans, facilitating group process, and training related to data collection/reporting.

GENERAL CORE LAB EXPERIENCE:

• Performs clinical laboratory tests pertinent to hematology, chemistry, clinical microscopy, serology, immunology, blood bank and microbiology.

• Performs the qualitative and quantitative analysis of urine, sperm washing and sperm analysis.

• Prepare routine analysis of stool and note physical and chemical appearance then examine under a microscope for the presence of abnormal parasites.

• Performs occult blood, adeno/rotavirus in stool.

• Well-versed with Laboratory Information System (LIS).

• Operates, maintains, calibrates and performs system checks on clinical laboratory equipment. Knowledgeable in basic machine troubleshooting.

• Observes proper handling of specimen and safe disposal of biohazard wastes.

INCHARGE OF CLINICAL CHEMISTRY DEPARTMENT:

• Performs all blood chemistry procedures such as: routines and special blood chemistry, liver function test, kidney function test and thyroid function test, CSF protein / sugar determination, glycosylated hemoglobin, and Cardiac Profiles using Alinity Abbott & Cobas e411.

• Recognizing/resolving testing irregularities and assisting other Medical Technologists in problem resolution.

• Maintaining, calibration, quality control, maintenance, perform testing of all core lab analyzers.

• Follows Standard Operating Procedures for specimen processing, performing test procedures, data analysis and reporting test results.

• Managing reagent inventory (ordering, receiving, inspection and preparation)

• Performs quality control testing, instrument calibrations and maintenance and troubleshooting.

• Responsible for the completion of all procedures scheduled during the work shift and for maintaining a clean, neat and organized work area.

• Contributes to teaching/training and competency evaluations of staff.

Performs laboratory examination such as clotting time, bleeding time, Prothrombin, Partial Thromboplastin time and Fibrinogen, reticulocytes count, ESR, Peripheral smear, G6PD screening, Malarial parasite count, Clot retraction time, Blood typing.

• Perform direct and indirect ABO and Rh typing, Coomb’s Test and Crossmatching.

• preparing of PBMC for intracellular extracellular staining, running T cell differential count by Flowcytometry, detecting of T. memory cells with immune spot immunoassays and detecting of interferon gamma & Interlukin4 using immunoassays.

• detection of Minimal residual disease (MRD) using BD Facslyric analyzer.

MOLECULAR LAB:

• Performs DNA, RNA or protein extraction from biological samples.

• Performs analysis of COVID 19 PCR test.

SEROLOGY:

• Performs SARS COV 2 Serology Testing using ELISA Technique and CMIA, CLIA.

• Knowledgeable in manipulating machines use for Genscript (Neutralizing Antibodies test), Anti S and Anti N.

• Performs detection of allergens using immunoblot assays with helia analyzer.
