ü Thermo QExactive Orbitrap High resolution Mass Spectrometry. I have experience in general screening using polarity switching (Positive/Negative) mode utilizing TraceFinder software. In addition I have experience in using Orbitrap MS2 (Positive/Negative) confirmatory scan mode using Xcalibur software.

ü Thermo Fusion Orbitrap High resolution Mass Spectrometry. I have experience in general screening using polarity switching (Positive/Negative) mode utilizing TraceFinder software. In addition I have experience in using Orbitrap MS2 (Positive/Negative) confirmatory scan mode using Xcalibur software.

ü Very good experience in gas chromatography mass spectrometry (GC-MS)in interruption and analysis of data by using Agilent system

ü Testing drugs by using immunoassay (Architect) Abbot system

ü Being accredited on ISO17025 by United Kingdom Accreditation Services, I am quite knowledgeable on the different documentation procedures of the ISO requirements

Oversees the safety activities of the laboratory

• Coordinates annual safety audit

• Oversees annual chemical inventory and obtains material safety data sheets (MSDS) as needed

• Maintains current and archived MSDSs

• Documents all safety-related activities

• Coordinates annual safety training

• Serves as laboratory safety committee chair

• Serves as chemical hygiene officer

• Interacts with a variety of regulatory agencies and professionals

Work environment

While performing the duties of this job, I have potential for exposure to infectious substances, hazardous chemicals and/or hazardous waste, and occasional exposure to moving equipment, the risks

Of which are minimize through compliance with established safety policies and procedures. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Responsibilities:

ü Clinical Chemistry Parasitology, hematology and Microbiology (serology and tissue culture d.

ü Setting up machines.

ü Setting up new parameters and standardizing equipment.

ü Setting up daily quality control plus external quality control.

ü Daily, weekly and quarterly maintenance of all mentioned machines below.

ü Management of laboratory staff, i.e. recording time sheet and overtime, staff rotation, and organizing annul leaves.
