Selected Engagements (non-exhaustive) led by Hala as a Director, include:

Strategy & Target Operating Model design engagements:

• Developed a five-year Transformation Strategy, Target Operating model and established a central Transformation Execution Governance capability, for a GCC Customs Authority.
• Developed a Transformation Strategy and Roadmap for a GCC Immigration and Border Management Agency.
• Led the development of the Abu Dhabi Sports Strategy, Target Operating Model and Roadmap.
• Developed strategic and business planning guide along with an initiative prioritization and capital allocation framework for a UAE Oil and Gas Company.
• Led the establishment and pilot implementation of a Strategic Partnership Framework for a Government and Public sector entity.
• Led the design of an IT Operating Model for an Energy client.

Transformation Management and PMO setup and Operations engagements:

• Led the Digital Transformation Program implementation including over 14 projects for a UAE federal government entity, with a team of 8 resources, providing program governance, reporting, stakeholder management and quality assurance services.
• Established and led the Program Management Office for the implementation of a custom-made core business solution for a Pensions government entity.
• Led the review and redesign of a Technology Target Operating Model for a Nuclear energy entity covering Information Technology, Operational Technology and Cybersecurity functions.
• Led a Managed Services Transformation Program in the capacity of a Program Director for an Energy Company.
• Stood up and led the operations of a Transformation Management Office for a multi-million Digital Transformation Program (System Implementation) for a Federal Government Entity.
• Led the design and establishment of the Enterprise Portfolio and Program Management Office for a local government entity in Abu Dhabi, including the implementation of Microsoft PPM tool.
• Established and managed the Project Management Office for the delivery of a multi-million Customer Experience and Digital Transformation project, for a GCC Ministry of Interior.
  
  

Selected Engagements (non-exhaustive) led by Hala as a Senior Manager, include:

• Led the delivery of a multi-million-dollar strategy formulation, and implementation plan, for the establishment of a shared services center across key support function for a federal UAE Government Entity.
• Designed and developed a reference model for the establishment of law enforcement public service centers for a GCC Law Enforcement Agency including operational policies and procedures.
• Established the Project Management Framework for a GCC Public Works Government Entity.

Led the Financial Operations Results Project, a project funded by the Middle East Partnership Initiative under the umbrella of the US Congress. The project aimed at bridging the gap between financial institutions and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and facilitate SMEs’ access to finance.

My role included:

Oversaw the development of a financial planning and credit scoring application.

Developed marketing and media coverage content.

Led the development of the project website.

Devised and executed the training plan for SMEs and Bankers.

Recruited trainers on financial management.

Drove the business development efforts to recruit training participants from the SMEs and Banking sector.

Managed the project budget.

Monitored and reported on project performance.

Managed the European Commission funded European Information Center (EIC) aimed at implementing the Euro-Jordanian Free Trade Agreement though increasing SME contribution to economic growth and enhancing market access to foreign investors and traders.

My responsibilities included:

• Developed information guides on the Euro-Jordanian Trade Agreement and other trade related topics.
• Conducted awareness sessions and networking events.
• Maintained the EIC website and networking platform.
• Participated in and delivered presentations in regional and international events.
• Connected and facilitated trade relationships between local Jordanian businesses and their counterparts in the EU.
• Hired and managed the EIC staff and maintained the budget.
• Monitored and reported the EIC performance.
