As the Principal Architect for the Financial Services sector, I defined and governed a regulator-aligned, multi-tenant sovereign cloud platform for the UAE financial ecosystem. I led the end-to-end reference architecture covering infrastructure, security, data sovereignty, resilience, and platform services, including HSM-based key management, high availability and disaster recovery design, and standardized onboarding patterns for regulated financial institutions.

I played a key role in a highly competitive RFP process against global technology giants, differentiating the solution through sovereign architecture and regulatory alignment. I defended the proposal through rigorous evaluation cycles, including extended deep-dive technical presentations of up to 10 hours with regulators, banks, and delivery partners, ultimately winning the engagement on technical and architectural merit. This enabled a scalable, audit-ready foundation supporting secure digital banking, fintech integration, and advanced workloads across the UAE financial ecosystem.

  • Multi‑platform AI Supercomputing, Sovereign & Off‑shore Capacity (USD ±1.5 Billion)

Acted as Principal Architect and Design Authority for a multi‑year, multi‑platform AI compute engagement, covering wafer‑scale systems, GPU superclusters, sovereign on‑shore infrastructure and off‑shore capacity, supporting both research and production AI workloads at national scale. Key solution components included.
• Cerebras Condor Galaxy (CS‑3 wafer‑scale systems) – fully managed, production AI platform
• NVIDIA A100 / H100 GPU clusters – on‑shore and off‑shore high‑performance compute
• AMD MI210 GPU infrastructure (10K‑class) – large‑scale AI training and inferencing

I led the architecture and delivery of a national Open Finance initiative for a UAE regulator, acting as Lead Principal Architect to design, govern, and orchestrate end-to-end solutions across a multi-partner ecosystem. Defined the target architecture, security and integration frameworks, API standards, and data governance models, while aligning stakeholders including financial institutions, fintech partners, and technical SMEs.
