As the Principal Architect for the Financial Services sector, I defined and governed a regulator-aligned, multi-tenant sovereign cloud platform for the UAE financial ecosystem. I led the end-to-end reference architecture covering infrastructure, security, data sovereignty, resilience, and platform services, including HSM-based key management, high availability and disaster recovery design, and standardized onboarding patterns for regulated financial institutions.
I played a key role in a highly competitive RFP process against global technology giants, differentiating the solution through sovereign architecture and regulatory alignment. I defended the proposal through rigorous evaluation cycles, including extended deep-dive technical presentations of up to 10 hours with regulators, banks, and delivery partners, ultimately winning the engagement on technical and architectural merit.
