  • Leading the project management practice for the global business services team in IFFCO with an objective to setup the PMO capabilities, frameworks, processes to develop the GBS Portfolio and measure its performance against the pre-defined KPIs, business case and report on the realized value.
  • Validating the GBS Design and target operating model by identifying gaps against process standardization and industry best practices to be able to build the GBS Portfolio that will achieve the business case and productivity targets.

  • Led the transformation and executed the transition of technology capabilities and services from multiple companies and teams, consolidating them into a centralized technology department that serves the entire group.
  • Delivered the assessment and design for establishing MAF's Global Solutions Company, which involved transforming the Finance, Human Capital, Procurement, and Technology Business Units into a shared services unit that now serves the entire group.
  • Set up the project management office (PMO) for an international company with a target revenue of 14 million euros. This involved establishing all project management standard operating procedures (SOPs), leading a team of 5 project coordinators, and mentoring a team of 12 project and program managers. I also set up the PMO Delivery Governance for all SAP, Oracle, Microsoft and Service Now projects, with a portfolio of 53 projects and a revenue of 14-16 million euros. Through my leadership, the organization smoothly transitioned from not having a PMO unit to now delivering IT projects based on Project Management Institute (PMI) best practices with cost-effective solutions.
  • Executed a mega SAP global program (Budget of 5M USD) leading 4 workstreams represented by a project manager with 10+ stakeholders for each workstream, and a duration was 16 months.
  • Successful delivery and rollout for a MENA HRMS program (Budget of 500K USD) leading 3 project managers across 7 legal entities for Hikma over a duration of 18 months (Egypt, Lebanon, KSA, Sudan, Morocco, Tunis and Algeria).
  • Hands-on project management experience for ERP implementations as the assigned project manager (3 projects in UAE, 5 projects in Africa and Levant, 12 projects in Jordan).

Acheivements

  • Led the establishment of 5+ PMOs for several organizations globally where portfolio worth was more than 14M Euros.
