Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the procurement function for HVAC&R industry, metal (copper), and all DMA “Domestic Major Appliances”, including white goods, LHA, and air conditioners (RAC, CAC, and light CAC), ensuring alignment with business goals and market demands across UAE and Oman markets.
• Manage the entire procurement lifecycle from sourcing and vendor negotiation to contract management and supplier relationship. Oversee logistics operations, including inbound and outbound shipment coordination, inventory management, and warehouse operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
• Cultivate strong relationships with key global and regional suppliers, negotiating favorable pricing and terms. Ensure consistent supplier performance, evaluate quality standards, and enforce compliance with contractual obligations to meet organizational objectives.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting and inventory planning processes to optimize stock levels and minimize shortages. Collaborate with sales, operations, and related stakeholders. to align procurement with projected business needs and seasonality trends.
• Oversee an annual procurement budget, managing purchasing decisions for over 400 containers per year. Drive cost-saving initiatives, focusing on procurement optimization, reducing lead times, and identifying areas for cost reduction without compromising product quality or supply chain performance.
• Manage a cross-functional team responsible for procurement, logistics, and warehouse management. Provide leadership, guidance, and training to ensure the team is equipped with the necessary skills to handle complex procurement and supply chain challenges.
• Oversee the coordination of all inbound logistics (supply chain from suppliers to warehouse) and outbound logistics (distribution to retail and customer locations), ensuring products are delivered efficiently while minimizing delays, stockouts, and excess inventory.
• Continuously assess and implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency, including leveraging ERP systems for real-time inventory tracking, demand planning, and order processing. Lead initiatives to automate procurement functions where possible, reducing administrative overhead.
• Ensure procurement activities adhere to industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. Monitor market trends, global supply chain risks, and geopolitical factors to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
