Role Overview:
Led the engineering operations and asset development for a diversified portfolio of four hotels across the UAE and South Africa. Oversaw MEP systems, infrastructure upgrades, energy efficiency projects, and lifecycle asset management. Directed in-house teams for project execution, minimizing cost and maximizing system reliability and sustainability.

Key Achievements & Projects (executed mainly in-house):

• Upgraded chilled water systems, chillers replacements and advanced energy-saving control integration
• Redesigned and improved heating systems for electrical efficiency and optimal thermal output
• Migrated to IPTV infrastructure across all properties
• Upgraded structured cabling systems, enhancing IPTV, IP telephony, Wi-Fi, and PMS. integration
• Optimized and re-integrated BMS systems with accurate fault detection and full equipment connectivity
• Enhanced roof and window insulation (thermal + waterproofing)
• Reinsulated and restructured CHW (chilled water) piping for improved performance
• Implemented comprehensive PPM (Preventive Maintenance) schedules and asset lifecycle strategies
• Installed remote-controlled LED lighting systems for golf course applications.
• Upgraded irrigation systems for golf courses with automated and efficient coverage
• Maintained professional hotel engineering operations, meeting hospitality standards and guest satisfaction KPIs
• Full compliance with all regulatory requirements from Civil Defense, Sustainability Authorities, and Tourism Departments in both UAE and South Africa

MEP Manager.

Design and full execution of all MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and controls) for two major hospitality and accommodation projects.
-VOGO Grand Hotel- Dubai: 730 rooms, Managed complete technical coordination and systems integration.
-KSK Homes – Dubai: A purpose-built student housing complex with 730 rooms, where I oversaw all MEP systems from design to commissioning.

Execution-Established of Al-Barsha Hotel (Hilton), Dubai, UAE, five star hospitality project consisting of 90 guest rooms. Responsible for complete implementation and delivery of all electrical and ELV systems from project initiation to final handover to Hilton standards.
Scope of work include:
• LV power distribution.
• Lighting and emergency lighting systems.
• Fire alarm system.
• BMS (Building Management System) integration.
• Structured cabling and IPTV systems.
• Coordination with HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.
• Testing, commissioning, and final inspection with Hilton’s engineering and quality teams.

Executed of Zayed Sports Complex – Fujairah, UAE one of major government-backed sports and infrastructure project in Fujairah, Air conditional multi-purpose sports huge hall, an administrative building, and several utility structures.

Implementation of MEP systems including LV power, lighting, fire alarm, ELV, arena speaker ,sound system ,chiller yards, BMS controls, STP, WTP, and automated irrigation system.

Worked post-handover with the Ministry of Youth & Sports as Operations Consultant for major events.

Awarded Certificate of Appreciation by UAE Ministry of Infrastructure for exceptional performance and execution quality on the project.

Urban Main Gate Complex – Abu Dhabi, UAE (GASCO Pipeline & Transco)
MEP Engineer (Design -established & Supervision).
Involved in MEP design review and on-site supervision for key infrastructure facilities, included electrical, HVAC, plumbing, firefighting systems, security ,and coordination with client engineering teams.

Execution-established for vital projects including Future Plast Industry L.L.C Abu Dhabi, Al Ain private residential complex. Al Ain-UAE and Galadari motor driving Centre L.L.C , Dubai-UAE. Responsible for site implementation, coordination, and quality compliance on fast-track developments.

Executed of air conditioning systems and controls in :
• Laboratories and lecture halls – Ain Shams University
• Central HVAC system – Suez Hospital
Scope included installation, testing, and integration of control systems for chilled water and ducted units.
