As a Health, Safety, and Environment Officer at Al Etihad Gold Refinery, I play a crucial role in monitoring daily activities to ensure compliance with EHS standards and promote workplace safety practices.

• Ensuring comprehensive communication of safety regulations to all employees, improving overall compliance and safety awareness; developed and implemented detailed health and safety plans to protect employees and the environment.
• Organize and conduct EHS meetings and training sessions to communicate safety concerns effectively to teams, raise awareness, and promote a culture of safety within the organization.
• Delivering comprehensive safety induction programs for new employees, visitors, and contractors working at the facility.
• Coordinate and arrange emergency drills to ensure employees are well-prepared for potential incidents.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
• Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections to identify and address non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement best practices, and initiatives to improve HSE performance.

• Analysis and determination of gold by the fire assay analysis method, ISO 11426:2021, and determination of silver by the in-house fire assay method.
• Analysis and determination of high-purity gold, platinum, palladium, and silver using ICP-OES by ISO 15093:2020 and ISO 15096:2020.
• Analysis and determination of silver in silver alloys by the potentiometric method using potassium bromide, ISO 11427:2014.
• Ordering, receiving, checking, and monitoring of chemical stock.
• Possesses a commitment to quality, safety, health, and continuous improvement.
• Preparation and implementation of QA/QC policies and procedures, SOPs, forms, daily reports, log books, and manufacturing records.
