An Executive Sales Director with 16+ years of experience in leading sales and business development initiatives for renowned multinational companies such as JTI & Nestle; across the Middle East & Gulf Countries.
Throughout my career, I worked for multinational companies in Kuwait, KSA, UAE, Switzerland & Iraq assuming Sales & Business development roles across food & non food industries accumulating a wealth of experience & knowledge.
I proved to be a Star performer with JTI since I joined in 2014, so I was nominated for a Global assignment on October 2016 in Geneva, Switzerland. During this assignment I experienced global corporate level of Commercial Strategy experience where I worked on projects across the Globe for 15 months.
In 2018 I assumed a Trade Marketing role for the Middle East before leading Saudi & Bahrain Markets in Sales where he grew JTIs Business by 200% in a span of 2 years.
Those results were key drivers to get the Executive Sales director for the Middle East as of October 2021.
Throughout my career I managed to build a result oriented mindset focused on growth & development & below are some of my achievements:
* Transformed JTI’s business performance in KSA from a continuous declining trend into the fastest growing tobacco company since joining in 2019 & boosted Winston from #9 position into the #1 position in KSA as of September 2021
* Upon joining the Global Commercial Strategy team, I was on a short term assignment however upon the closing of the assignment I was offered a full time role in Switzerland driven by his outstanding performance.
* Upon joining JTI in March 2014, I managed to finalize the contractual agreements and launched JTI brands in Oman within 3 months
* During his stint in Iraq with Ulker Chocolates, Ibrahim managed to transform Ulker Portfolio from 600+ products that are fragmented and sold through 3 distributors into a lean portfolio with 150 products which are handled by a key focused distributor across Iraq. That transformation resulted in solid 25% growth in 2014 vs 2013
* Throughout his performance with Nestle, Ibrahim enjoyed a fast tracked career where he had multiple success stories but one story stands out when Ibrahim lead a team to sign all the Key Account Agreements for Nestle upon establishing the Nestle Join Venture Operating company back in 2010 in Saudi Arabia.
* On a personal level, I managed to establish a balanced lifestyle where health & wellness are key elements to maximize quality of life
Leading a team of 14 highly motivated professionals across Sales, Demand planning & Commercial Planning to achieve consistent sustainable growth for JTI across Middle East
