- Ensure front line inspections are carried out at all stages of blasting and painting ensuring the compliance with the client Paint Specifications.
- Exercise proactive approach on inspection and communicate remedial actions as necessary to QC and production Supervisors.
- Front line inspection of the coating, abrasive media periodically to ensure the conformance of the specification
- Carry out front line Inspection/Tests related to Coating Inspection according to the Painting procedure or by International standards
- Ensure that required tests as called for in the project specification, e.g. blotter test are performed in a timely manner prior to start Blasting operation
- Generate and submit daily progress reports in a timely manner
- Ensure that all inspection instruments are in good working order with valid calibration
- Responsible for quality awareness in operators through regular training
- Monitoring / check of climatic condition, mixing of paints application, WFT and DFT.
- To Know and understand estimated HRS On each activity, Maintaining man-hours booking and details, weekly progress input to supervisor
- Generate and submit daily progress reports in a timely manner
