Summary
I am a determined individual who is passionate about improving lives through the power of education and sports coaching. I have been working as a sports coach for eleven years. During this time, I have developed the necessary skills to become a PE teacher. I have delivered PE lessons in many primary schools and have worked in two different high schools as a teaching assistant and PE cover supervisor in the UK. Since October 2023 I have been working in the UAE as a school’s football coach for Manchester City Football Club, delivering a healthy lifestyles program to over 30,000 students in the first year as well as working within the City Football performance pathway. Here I have delivered presentations, planned classes, and gained further experience in education. In addition to this, I have recently completed a PGCE qualification covering modules: Transformative Learning, Critical Reflection and Instructional Leadership. I also have a BSc Sports Coaching degree awarded by Manchester Metropolitan University. I believe these experiences have given me the necessary foundations to build upon and begin a career as an outstanding PE teacher. I am seeking a role as a PE teacher to further challenge myself, develop my career in education and impact young peoples lives in a positive manner.

- I enjoy examining life on a deeper level and considering how life experiences contribute to individual psychology, personalities and perspectives. I believe everyone has their own story and I find that fascinating. I understand how life events, role models and experiences shape who we become as human beings. Understanding this inspires me to impact future generations positively. I played a variety of sports growing up and currently still do, mainly football. Watching sports and gaining a further understanding of coaching methods and philosophies is something I pay attention to. In my free time I enjoy relaxing by listening to podcasts, reading and watching movies or documentaries. Travelling and experiencing new cultures is something I have had the privilege to do and something I intend to do further.
