• Provide for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals
• Maintain patient stability by checking vital signs and weight; testing urine and recording intake and output information
• Provide comfort to patient by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients' calls and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor
• Document actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
• Maintains work operations by following policies and procedures
• Protect organization's value by keeping patient's information confidential
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, and maintaining license
• Enhance nursing department and hospital reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments

•Organize creative activities and educational games (e.g. drawing, crafting and outdoor activities)

•Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding for babies)

•Change diapers and bathe infants

•Help older children wash up and take baths

•Schedule nap times

•Teach children appropriate social behaviors, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores

•Tidy up play areas and children’s rooms

•Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities

•Take care of children in case of injury or illness

•Perform housekeeping tasks as needed

•Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development

• Oversee and care for patient at employer's residence
• Plan, prepare and serve meals to clients
• Clean and sanitize the room and/or house
• Maintain healthy and hygienic environment in the home
• Observe behavior and make reports for care giving, home care agency
• Keep records of everyday activities and health information regarding each patient
• Help patients take prescribed medication
• Assist patients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)
• A pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
