• Humana’s financial recovery department focuses on preventions & identification of unnecessary payments to providers and recovery of overpaid claims
• GQD is one of the processes that support Humana’s financial recovery team by developing SQL queries based on the requirements received from the query writers
• Roles & Responsibility:
• Developing global queries with various criteria
• Handling ad-hoc request to be completed within a day
• SQL conversion from MS Access to Oracle & Migration from old tables to new tables
• A part of provider payment integrity team
• Handling Complex data analyzation in order to identify the overpayment
• Strong operational understanding of provider payment networks
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft products like Word, Excel and Access (or similar database management application)
• Ability to build queries using SQL
• Performance tuning on SQL Queries, checking logical reads, Explain Plan and generating report for tuning Queries and increasing performance.
