• Monitor district cooling plant performance, including chillers, pumps, thermal storage, cooling towers and distribution networks.

• Ensure optimal system efficiency and compliance with operational standards.

• Track energy consumption, cooling demand, and system capacity.

• Coordinate with technicians and contractors for repairs and upgrades.

• Ensure proper PPE usage (heat-resistant gear, gas detectors, fall protection).

• Liaise with building owners, facility managers, and end-users to address cooling service issues.

• Enforce safe work practices for technicians and subcontractors.

• To be worked in tandem with the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor & the District Cooling plant maintenance team members so as to attain the targeted goals.

• Assist with Work Permit preparations (Hot and Cold Work).

• To assist & guide the entire external contractors ETS operator whenever required.

• To prepare & keep all the related log books & reports including the daily utilities & consumption.

• Implement lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures for maintenance work.

• Understanding technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

• Performing routine inspections, lubrication, adjustments, and cleaning of machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns.

• Repairing or replacing faulty components, parts, and equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

• Executed regular maintenance of firefighting protection system.

• Inspection of electrical equipment and systems to recognize defects, hazards and the requirement for repairs of modifications.

• Conducted replacement and repair of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to ensure functionality.

• Conducted testing of circuit and electrical systems employing tools including voltmeters, ohmmeters, and megger testing.

• Replace or repair defective parts (bearings, seals, belts, gears, sensors).

• Understanding technical manuals, blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.

• Coordinate movement of materials, tools, and electronics to work site.

• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on industrial machinery (pumps, motors, conveyors, compressors, HVAC, hydraulics, pneumatics).

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic failures.

• Test and calibrate sensors, switches, and instrumentation.

• Update equipment service records, work orders, and inspection reports

• Be on-call for urgent repairs to minimize downtime.

• Conducting tests on repaired or installed equipment to ensure proper functionality.
