Currently assigned to a Seconded team to a Client "leading Financial Center in the UAE", Acting as Client's Senior Commercial Manager including the following tasks

• Budget study, estimation, tracking and management
• Leading and supervision of Cost consultants and review cost plans, RFPs, Tendering reports and analysis, post-contract construction supervision.
• Managing procurement process for all packages including all soft and hard cost vendors (consultants, designers, Contractors)
• Project Cost planning for various project phases from strategic planning till completion of final account and DLP.
• Contract Administration and change management supervision
• Scenario Analysis during project to help Client with proper decisions for agile scenarios during project.
• Handling all project stakeholders from Client, Contractor, Consultants to ensure project budget is properly managed and reported throughout the project lifecycle
• Managing Cashflow, payments of the vendors

Worked for 6 months in the head office as part of core team for fitout projects where I participated in the following activities:

• Managing procurement process for fitout projects, starting by oversighting measurement team and arranging the BOQ on CostX.
• Preparing Tender Package, and managing the tender returns review and analysis, preparing Tender Evaluation Reports.
• Preparing Pre-Tender Estimates for the Clients
• Handling Contractual arrangement for the Award

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Managing Cost Management for Amazon account (EMEA Region)
• Supporting client and PM team with general cost management on projects from concept to handover
• Creating CAPEX and project budget using benchmarking data and concept/ test-fit layouts
• Managing and controlling project budget throughout project lifetime from startup till handover to ensure all packages are achieved within budget
• Cost data analysis to assist with estimating, value engineering & cost saving strategies.
• Quantity Take-off of engineering documents and drawings and preparing Bills of quantities and Pre-Tender Estimate reports
• Analyzing tender returns and preparing tender comparison reports to give recommendation to Client following data driven approach
• Benchmarking study and analysis for project’s budget and actual cost
• Managing invoices for different packages in Project and preparing payment certificates and final account invoices
• Preparing and monitoring project’s cashflow and accruals report on monthly basis
• Preparing monthly cost reports and updating anticipated final cost of Project on monthly basis
• Monitoring and evaluating variations as per project’s contract conditions

  Package (Steel structure, Mechanical equipment, Piping & Firefighting)
• Follow up on engineering changes, modifications & extra works to determine impact,
  Handling Variation orders.
• Coordinating with the client for all commercial issues
• Validation and verification of all sub-contract invoices as well as field auditing, and all other
  quantity and progress related
