• Monitors and supervises the technicians’ jobs and activities. Manages job allocations and additional jobs, prioritizing accordingly.
• Consistently supervises and monitors the technicians’ performance. Assures highly efficient and productive employees, monitoring the quality and quantity of work done, time taken, the attitude at work, as well as adherence to 5S (cleanliness).
• Ensures that all warranty/ Port Modificatoin cases in the workshop will be observed and will be reported to the Technical Department.
• Monitors allowed time vs. actual time taken for the work.
• Reports any modification case to vehicle components and provides the necessary documentation for future reference (i.e. photos, etc.)
• Ensure proper adherence to Service Department procedures
• Ensures constant coordination with Job Control for daily jobs and on-time advise for cases of urgency.
• Conducts the counterchecking of technicians reports and mechanical estimations, to ensure accuracy.
• Ensure proper adherence to Service Department procedures.
• Selects suitable technicians for training programs, monitor their skills and capabilities, and periodically reviews training requirements.
• Analyzes the reasons for repeat jobs and tries to prevent it.
• Assists technicians for complex repairs and diagnosis, whenever necessary.
• Coordinates with TSA for warranty & F1 issues and correspondingly reports to Workshop Manager.
• Monitors technicians’ activities to ensure on-time job completion and in case of any delay, to coordinate/report to the job control accordingly.
• Guarantees proper safekeeping and maintenance of the issued tools conducting a periodic inventory and takes responsibility for any discrepancy
• Performs other related tasks assigned by the Workshop Manager and/or Service Manager.

▪ Reports on-time to job control at the start of the shift in order to receive the job allocation. After completing each and every assigned job reports again to the job control, for another assignment.
▪ Reads the job card thoroughly and understands carefully the job contents/customer complaints in order to perform and meet customer requests and concerns.
▪ Reports and updates the immediate Team Leader/job controller of the work progress and/or any additional findings that require approval before performing the job.
▪ Efficiently performs the allocated job according to company procedures, ensuring quality service and customer satisfaction at all times.
▪ Works on the customer’s car cautiously, using protective covers while doing the job so as not to cause any damage or stains on it, and reports to immediate supervisor any valuables found inside the vehicle.
▪ Properly writes/reflects on the job card the findings/report during vehicle inspection and fill up completely all the necessary information/jobs done after servicing or repairing a vehicle.
▪ Consistently double-checks the work performed especially on safety-related areas, strictly observing F1 (fix right the first time) to avoid repeat jobs.
▪ Follows safety rules and specific work instructions, i.e., observing proper dress code at all times, strict use of safety gadgets, proper usage, storage and handling of tools, as well as maintaining a healthy and harmonious working environment between colleagues.
▪ Ensures proper safekeeping and maintenance of the issued tools, doing periodic inventory and taking responsibility for any discrepancy.
▪ Follows the instructions and treats with due respect all colleagues, supervisors and managers.
▪ Renders overtime, whenever necessary.
▪ Takes initiative in learning new ideas by utilizing the ESMs and other available resources in the workshop library.
▪ Exercises a practical application of gained knowledge and skills acquired from the training.
▪ Observes 5S on the workplace, keeping all parts (removed or new) and common tools on its proper place, for everybody’s safety.
▪ Undertakes additional responsibility as required.
