• Carry out Field Operation of ALSTOM GT26 Gas Turbine, Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG), Steam Turbine and associated Equipment in coordination with Control Room Engineer.
• Designated person for isolation, normalization and restoring systems under low voltage category.
• Routine Operation checks – Condition and Performance monitoring of running Equipment’s and report any deviations.
• Involving in smooth startup, planned shutdown of Steam/Gas turbine, Boiler and associated Auxiliaries.

• Report to Operation Manager & Shift Manager. Manage operation of CCGT cogeneration power plant, MED desalination plant efficiently and safely as per the dispatch instructions of Abu Dhabi power grid (LDC).
• Liaise with the Load Dispatch Centre and ensure uninterrupted supply of steam to Desalination plant to satisfy water demand.
• Lead shift team & participate in start-up, shutdown of plant units and monitor process through DCS ‘ALSPA’ according to approved operation procedure and modify the procedure if necessary for approval.
• Ensure compliance with approved procedure by team members and guide them for adherence.
• Analyze various thermodynamics, electrical, chemical, emission and sea water outfall parameters of the operating plant to take necessary actions required and strictly comply with environmental regulation.
• Carry out responsibility of ‘Incident Controller’ and emergency handling as of approved emergency response plan.
• Carry out responsibility of ‘Outage assistance’ during annual outage.
• Authorized as designated person for isolating and normalization of low voltage system and high-pressure system.
• Conduct training on ‘Gas Turbine operation’ for Developee Engineers and mentoring Emirati Engineers according to company protocol.

Generation Engineer with hand-on responsibility for real-time generation dispatch, frequency and reserve control, interconnection monitoring ( UAE & GCC), and contingency management to ensure secure and compliance system operation.
