- Verification of Cooling Load Calculation using ASHRAE Standards.
- Confirming duct design using MCQUAY Duct Sizer and resizing if required as per site requirement.
- Monitoring the installation of Chilled water system and Dx system at the site.
- Study different HVAC system designs and layouts in compliance with local building codes and industry standards.
- Specified and sourced different HVAC materials and equipment, considering cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Checking Material submittals for different MEP related equipment and materials used in site in order to get approval for material from consultant as per approved material submittal.
- Submitting WIR to QA/QC for further submission to the consultant after installation of different mechanical services at the site.
- Monitoring the MIR, WIR & Various approvals in the logs and notify the senior mechanical engineer if anything required attention.
- Pre-inspection before MEP Inspection to make sure that material is installed according to engineering standards and approved shop drawings and making sure that it is complying with project specifications to get a smooth approval from Mechanical consultant/Inspector.
- Conducted inspections and tests like Gravity tests for plumbing pipes, Nitrogen test for AC pipes etc. to confirm compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintained up-to-date knowledge of local mechanical and plumbing codes and regulations, ensuring all projects met legal standards.
- Collaborated with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC seamlessly into building designs.
