Experienced and dedicated to working with EYFS aged children, I currently work as a Learning Assistant in the Foundation Stage of a well respected and sought after 3-18 school in Dubai. My entire career has been dedicated to working for and with children, and I can still say I thoroughly enjoy their company, enthusiasm and perspective on the world. In recent years, I have been drawn to working with children and their families who are experiencing barriers to learning as well as those with specific learning disabilities, supporting them to fully realise their potential and unique contribution to our community. I am qualified to Cache Level 3 in both Early Years Workforce (Teaching) and in Special Educational Needs Coordinator (Early Years). I have recently undertaken to learn Makaton to support children in a variety of ways, both on our SEND register as well as our English Language Learners. I am now qualified to Level 4 and have embedded this in my everyday practice to create a fully inclusive and communication rich environment.
