Duties and responsibilities

• Effective implementation of PPE’s (Personal protective equipment’s).
• Communicated safety and environmental training material to contractors and coached individuals on safety regulations and compliance.
• Conducting periodic fire evacuation drill, first aid drills to ensure adequate personnel are identified, properly trained, and readily available for responding to emergency situations.
• Monitored workplace activities to determine compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Monitored proper housekeeping and cleaning of work area including Tools, furniture, equipment and vehicles.
• Identified accident causes and optimal prevention strategies by conducting thorough investigations and analyses.
• In line with departments conducting incident investigation, determining exact root cause of incident, likelihood of re occurrence and enabling risk management controls to prevent future.
• Researched and devised new safety initiatives and strategies to improve safety performance.

Duties and responsibilities

● Organize specific training programs such as TBT"s and internal trainings for workers and supervisory staff.

● Keeping up to date and ensuring compliance with current health and safety legislation or regulations with the objective of ensuring that all reasonable and proper measures are taken to protect the safety and health of employees, visitors and public.

● Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the project whichever is deputed.

● Develop, implement, maintain, and monitor safe operating procedures.

● Record and investigate incidents to determine root causes.

● Establish safety standards and policies as needed.

● Perform emergency response drills.

● Conduct site safety inspections regularly to ensure compliance with safety plans and procedures.

● Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority and stopping unsafe works.

● Promote safe practices at the job site.

● Act immediately to prevent accidents and potential harm to people and properties on the site that includes stopping the work or ordering immediate actions if necessary.

● Investigate and report all serious/critical personal injury accidents. occurring to workers to the HSEQ manager and to the project manager for various projects.

● Verify all equipments and tools are safe for use.

● Attend/conduct toolbox talks and maintain records.

● Respond to employees’ safety concerns especially working conditions.

● Creation of new ideas that will improve safety of facilities.

● liaise with supervisors, project managers and all staff of smooth workflow in safe manner

• Duties and responsibilities
• Ensure availability of fire extinguisher and First aid kit in every location. ▪ Make arrangements for the Assembly Point Area, Smoking Shelter & rest shelter etc.
• Continuously monitors work environment, especially for the work Performed under specific PTW requirements.
• Caring out regular and random inspection on the site and recording findings to take further corrective actions.
• Preparation of necessary signs such as warning signs, Prohibition signs, Mandatory signs and so on.
• Ensure that safety inspections are carried out, fire drills and fire alarms are correctly reported, Safety inspections, risk assessments and lone working procedures are managed, and employees are aware of their responsibilities.
• Ensure display of safety slogans, banner at the conspicuous locations.
• Ensure availability of firefighting equipment wherever necessary and also train workforce for the correct use of same.
• Coordinate with all HSE Officers and ensure that all observations (Non-Conformance reports, Site Instructions and Daily Inspection reports) from consultants, Client and other authorities are closed accordingly in each time scale.
• Check traffic diversions to ensure safe operations and smooth traffic flow.
• Supervise and work with employees / responsible for the supervision of site security and safety.
• Coordinate with Consultants, Clients and inspectors to ensure compliance with the Health and Safety legislation and standards.
