Duties and responsibilities
- Effective implementation of PPE’s (Personal protective equipment’s).
- Communicated safety and environmental training material to contractors and coached individuals on safety regulations and compliance.
- Conducting periodic fire evacuation drill, first aid drills to ensure adequate personnel are identified, properly trained, and readily available for responding to emergency situations.
- Monitored workplace activities to determine compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Monitored proper housekeeping and cleaning of work area including Tools, furniture, equipment and vehicles.
- Identified accident causes and optimal prevention strategies by conducting thorough investigations and analyses.
- In line with departments conducting incident investigation, determining exact root cause of incident, likelihood of re occurrence and enabling risk management controls to prevent future.
- Researched and devised new safety initiatives and strategies to improve safety performance.
- Performed safety analyses to evaluate potential risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
- Used Tech-apps to create and submit reports of inspections, investigations and follow-up actions.
- Reviewed work procedures and operational problems to determine ways to improve service, performance and safety.
