Self -motivated occupational health & safety professional with engineering background seeks position in an esteemed organization to effectively implement health & safety management system of the organization to protect & eliminate/reduce the potential hazard to the personnel & environment at the job site, thus increase the productivity and ensure the business continuity.

• Liaise with management in development and effective implementation of project HSE Plan
• Reviewing method statements/risk assessments for Contractors and ensure site activities being govern as per approved method statement/risk assessment.
• Developing HSE reports such as Monthly OSH/ EHS Statistic Report, management walk inspection report in conjunction with contractor personnel and submitting to the client.
• Promotes safe practices at the job site and enforce company safety guidelines
 • Monitor and ensure the implementation of PTW system
• Ensure that relevant control measures have been put in place and ALARP level is achieved before commencing of the work
• Provide awareness on H2S hazard & Breathing Apparatus for evacuation
 • Understand and participate in Task risk assessment/Risk Assessments meetings and compile the TRAs.
 • Conduct daily, weekly and periodic HSE inspections and highlight the shortcomings & follow up for action closeout
 • Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity
• Conducting and assist with OSH/ EHS audits, such as Fire Audit, Quarterly Audit and Heat Stress and welfare facility audit.
• Asist in implementation of Emergency response Plans/procedures, Train and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage emergency situations
• Monitor for the safety of all workers and works to protect them from entering hazardous situations
• Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy
• Carry out accident investigations to include the collection of evidence, interviewing of staff and obtaining witness statements and track corrective and preventive action and communicate the lesson learned to the workforce
• Provide onsite site trainings as and when required
• Maintain two-way communication and consultation with workforce representatives and convey the concern to the health & safety welfare committee for the necessary actions.
• Ensures the validity of all appropriate test certificates for the equipment’s and verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use
• Conduct HSE orientation / induction/HSE awareness sessions to work force
• Immediately inform all re-portable accident to the dept. Manager
 • Supervises and monitor the work activities in compliance to safe system of work (SSOW)
• Participates in toolbox meetings and other safety promotional activities and communicate the HSE Procedures/TRA/HSE Plan to all employees.
• Maintaining project HSE Documentation as per the HSE management system ISO14001, 45001 & Client requirements
• Ensure HSE performance aspects comply with the client and all relevant legal bodies.
