• Acting CFO and managed the finance function
• Performing financial analysis of entire life cycle of Business Unit's (BUs) and their projects/initiatives;
• Performing business case evaluation, financial expense tracking and cost allocation mechanisms;

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, Ajman (SKMCA) is an initiative of Ministry of Presidential Affairs (UAE) to improve healthcare facilities in the emirates of Ajman and Masfout. It consists of 4 hospitals with 200 plus beds capacity and revenue of more than AED 400 Million.

• Acting Finance Director and managed finance function
• Assisting Chief Finance Officer in streamlining the finance function at SKMCA;
• Develop timely and precise consolidated management reports/financial reports to Parent Company and Banks, organize and coordinate preparation of annual budgets;
• Active participation in implementation of new initiatives like E Dirham, automated sales collection procedures, development of features/controls within ERP;
• Lead the Budget Process at SKMCA by cross coordinating functional departments, keeping the requirements of C suite and the TMO MoPA.
• Organized the monthly budgeting analysis, assist in the completion of regular business performance follow-up, taxation, internal audit, regulatory reporting;
• Developing/streamlining and implementing financial policies, procedures, enhancing controls in financial processes, organizational enhancements to improve governance and internal controls;
• Streamlined several processes by working cross functionally for accurate and timely delivery of deliverables.
• Performing and reviewing financial feasibility studies and due diligence reports for new projects along with cash flow/fund flow projections for the company;
• Preparation of Interim and Annual Financial Statements in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) and implementation of new accounting standards;
• Managing team of 8-10 and reporting to the CFO and The Medical Office (part of Ministry of Presidential Affairs), defined performance metrics and managed team development.
• Maintained effective professional relationships cross functionally and with other MoPA entities;
• Timely submission of VAT returns and refund claims, coordinating with External and Internal Auditors and Parent Organization (The Medical Office), processing payroll for 1300 staff etc.
• Managed the KPIs for SKMCA Finance Department by discussing, negotiating with the regulator/MoPA on annual basis.
• Maintained the KPI performance of Finance department and cross functionally at SKMCA and liaise with the relevant stakeholders for initiatives to achieve the KPIs.
• Ensured achievement of KPI performance by implementing continuous monitoring process and ensuring all key aspects of performance are met, conducted root cause analysis and provided feedback to management on a periodic basis for any corrective actions.

• Streamlining the finance function by bringing process improvements, segregation of duties, team structuring, ensuring timely reporting of Financial Statements, MIS reports, sales reports, etc.
