As a technical Engineer i am involved in various ELV systems work and handling the following tasks
Presales and Estimation
- Handling new inquires
- Analyzing the project's tender specifications & drawings to better understand the client requirements and scope of work
- Prepare each system BOQ based on quantity takeoff and project specification
- Prepare project cost estimation study
Project Engineering
- Preparing material submittals
- Providing support and instructions for design team to create project's shop drawings
- Obtain concerned authorities' approval
- Following up with the project's consultant to obtain approval on martial submittals and shop drawings
Project Site work
-Installation Phase:
- Coordination with other contractors involved in the project
- Following up with the site team to rectify any problems that might appear during work progress
- Following up with the project consultant to complete work inspections and obtain approval
-Testing and Commissioning Phase:
- Checking installation work to make sure everything is in order and meats the client's requirements
- Checking project environment to make sure it meets the system operating requirements before running the system
- Preparing for the system initial startup
- Completing the configuration and test the system results
- Creating testing and commissioning reports
-Project Completion and Handing Over Phase:
- Submitting project documents to the client
- Creating O&M manual
- Handling the final Handing over to the client
- Providing the operating team with required training and details on how to operate the system successfully
- Attending site inspections by the concerned arthritis to obtain thire final approval
After Sales
- Following up with client during the DLP period to solve any problems appeared in the installed system after the final handing over
- Handling AMC contracts
