o General Accountability:
Shall introduce the cargo product in the market and maintain sales and high standard of service to customers, recommend, implement and effectively control pricing, manage employees in compliance with the company’s regulations, policies and procedures.
Structure:
This position reports to the Business Development Director.
Dimensions:
This position is responsible for the provision of overall supervision to Cargo Sales Department in respect of DFS ME’s cargo flight operations.
Specific Accountabilities:
• Maintains and expands business in the assigned area
• Negotiates agreements and resolves potential issues or problems with clients
• Expands existing or current customer base by recognizing and involving top cargo agents within the area
• Develops business plans to maximize cargo revenues
• Creates awareness of all the products and services in the area to magnify market influence and generate future sales
• Prepares, monitors and controls budget to ensure compliance with set targets
• Studies market conditions to pinpoint new breaks or prospects and possible threats
• Develops sales network and price structure to attain targets and increase revenues
• Implements customer service procedures to ensure customer satisfaction
• Generate management reports for performance evaluation
• Other tasks and duties as directed to and as required, from time to time
• Constant liaison with customers whilst maintaining a highly professional image and excellent customer service skills
