Analyzing Process safety Indicators: Familiarized in analyzing process safety performance through lagging indicators and leading indicators on monthly basis. Preparing monthly / quarterly Process safety indicators Dashboard with detailed analysis for Corporate HSE and ADNOC BOD meetings.
Process safety Incident Investigation/ PS near miss and causation studies: Being a team member of the incident investigation team, contributed to understanding the causes (Immediate, Contributory and root) of incidents and developing strategies to prevent future occurrences by using the RCA techniques like FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and 5 WHY. Followed up for the closure of the recommendations through the SAP system. Developing accident causation studies for the incidents in the quarterly basis.
Risk management: Facilitated various risk management programs (HAZOP, What If, LOPA studies) and ensures that it identifies hazards, assesses risks, develops safety procedures, ensures compliance, investigates incidents, and manages changes to maintain the integrity and safety of industrial processes. And confirms that risk management programs are pivotal in safeguarding both personnel and the environment. Providing operational support in Formal Risk assessment for specialized Task.
Process Safety Audits: Conducts various Process Safety Audits including WMS, ICC, MOC, DGS, OI and MATA (HSECES) to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations and involved in reviewing documentation, managing safety compliance audits, and leading improvement projects to enhance safety programs.
Managing Downgraded situation: Responsible for monitoring and ensuring the proper functioning of critical safety systems, highlighting any downgraded situations in the plant, and following up closely to resolve them before they impact safety standards. Additionally, they play an active role in the asset integrity team, identifying gaps in the company's process safety procedures and making necessary correction.
Management of Change: Participating in technical evaluation and Conducted various HIRA studies for MOC and ensuring through audits, Managing Management of Change (MOC) are followed (HSE-OS-ST30) a systematic approach to ensure that all changes to a process are risk assessed, approved, communicated, and safely implemented.
Alarm Management: As a process safety engineer ensures that alarm management programs are adequately categorizing, prioritizing, and rationalizing alarms based on criticality and timely response requirements. And also confirms that alarms direct operators' attention to plant conditions requiring timely assessment or action, and that every alarm is useful, relevant, and has a defined response.
HSECES Deficient Analysis: Conducted HSECES Deficient Analysis which involved identifying gaps in the maintenance program of safety-critical systems and developed strategies for improvement. Ensured that all safety-critical elements are functioning effectively to prevent accidents and protect the workforce and environment.
PSSR: Led various PSSR meetings to confirm system readiness for commissioning, ensuring all startup-related hazards were recognized and mitigated. Conducted and participated in various PSSR activities in RFCC TAR 24.
Fatigue Analysis: Analyzing the fatigue levels of front-line workers in all assets of ADNOC refining and implementing directives to manage and mitigate fatigue-related risks. This includes conducting gap analysis, audits, and reviews to continually improve operations and achieve core process safety values
