As a Logistics Officer in the Sri Lanka Navy, I was entrusted with the end-to-end management of supply chain operations across multiple bases and units. I led initiatives to streamline procurement, storage, inventory control, and distribution processes in alignment with operational goals and regulatory standards.

• Strategic Supply Chain Management:
  Spearheaded the development, execution, and oversight of comprehensive purchasing, storage, and distribution strategies tailored to the operational demands of a dynamic military environment. Ensured alignment with established supply chain policies and compliance with defence procurement regulations.
• ERP-Based Inventory Control:
  Operated advanced ERP platforms to monitor and manage inventory across all logistics touch points. Tracked movement of materials in real-time, enabled automated reordering, and optimized stock availability,significantly reducing delays and material shortages.
• Warehouse & Storage Oversight:
  Managed over 30 geographically dispersed storage units, ensuring efficient stock rotation, space utilization, and inventory turnover. Regularly analyzed usage trends to set and maintain appropriate minimum, maximum, and buffer stock levels, supporting uninterrupted operational readiness.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
  Led and participated in routine quality checks, inspections, and audit procedures to ensure all incoming and stored goods met military-grade quality standards. Ensured strict adherence to safety, handling, and storage regulations.
