• Responsible for providing professional nursing care to patient by performing assessment through obtaining data including complete health histories, formulating nursing diagnosis, planning of care, doing nursing interventions, evaluation and proper documentation. It also includes receiving and carrying out doctor’s order and assisting in emergency code situation, receives patients from different department, instructs and educates patient in health promotion, prevention of illness and care of ill, disabled and dying person.
• Providing care to post operative patients after trans out from PostAnesthesia Care Unit.

• Administering medication and rendering care to newborn, Essential Newborn Care as mandated by Department of Health.

• Encompasses caring of patient of all age groups and conditions. Focusing on rendering care with patient having medical emergency that needs prompt medical attention or treatment to avoid further disability or death. Good observations, assessments and prioritization skills. Ability to speed up pace when needed. Good communication and personal coping skills, multi-tasking ability, time management, calmness when in chaos, stamina and knowledge regarding policies and protocols for effectively, efficiently and ethically rendering of care were also needed. Observed and practiced the principle of triage. Administering medication, doing medical procedures, requesting diagnostic exam, and etc. as respective physicians order to carry out. Then admitting the patient in the institution when needed according to guidelines.
