• Diabetes study on collaborating with Shaikh Khalifa Medical City(SKMC)
• UAE healthy future: cohort health public study for long-term targeting the healthy individuals from UAE nationals aim to understand many of health conditions developing which are very common in the UAE,
• gut microbiome study on the new born since born to 12 months
• Genetic and immunological profiling of COVID-19 patients
• iodine deficiency study in UAE in collaboration with Cleveland Hosp.- Abu Dhabi
• Oral microbiome project/UAEHFS
• Assist the PHRC research scientists on their projects
• work with students on their capstones
• Day to day lab management

• polymer chain reaction( PCR)/RT-PCR

• DNA & RNA extraction
• Genotyping
• Library Preparation for sequencing

Hematology

• Complete blood count (CBC) and Reticulocyte count
• Examination of peripheral smears for Total and differential count, and Platelet count Absolute Eosinophil count
• Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR)
• Preparation of peripheral and bone marrow smears ant stained by( Lesihman, Peroxidase, Giemsa....etc)
• Blood Smear for Malarial Parasites
• Cell count and differential count of various body fluids
• Coagulation workup including PT, APTT, TT, and factor assays
• bleeding time and clotting time.

Clinical Chemistry

• Process most of the routine and special chemistry test which done in the reference Laboratories (Diabetes Control Panel,Metabolic Panel,Liver Function Tests,Cardiac Injury, Pancreatic enzymes)
• Chemical analysis of Body fluids.

Immunology and Serology

• Hepatitis Panel
• Thyroid Function Test
• Tumor Markers
• Autoimmune and Infectious Diseases

Blood Banking (Immunohematology)

• Forward and reverse Blood typing(tubes & gel card method )
• Antibody screening test ,
• Direct &indirect coombs test
• Compatibility testing for blood transfusion(XM)
