• I have looked after a wide range of endocrine disorders including Cushing's syndrome, Acromegaly and phaeochromocytoma as well as more common disorders such as thyroid, Addison’s disease, polycystic ovary syndrome and parathyroid disease.

• I have managed patients with both acute and long-term diabetic complications, including diabetic foot problems and ketoacidosis. I regularly assess patients with diabetes referred from medical and surgical teams and liaise with the diabetes specialist nurses, podiatrists, renal and vascular surgical team when required.

• Primary care teaching: I gave regular seminars and lectures to general practitioners and practice nurses on Diabetes and its complications including the management of diabetes during Ramadan. Also teach regularly on the Diabetes Certificate (Warwick Diabetes course)
