PRE CONTRACT STAGE

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bill of quantities with the creative/commercial team and/or the client
• Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work
• Assist in establishing a client’s requirements and undertake feasibility studies
• Perform risk, value management, and cost control
• Advise on a procurement strategy
• Identify, analyze and develop responses to commercial risks
• Brief and allocate work to subcontractors
• Analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports
• Understand the implications of health and safety regulations.
• Study, inspect, review of tender drawings/documents for discrepancies
• Analysis of rates for Labour, Material and Plant (fixed and variable) and thus assist build up costing, pricing and analysis of direct and indirect cost for the Bill of Quantities items.
• Maintain vendors data base, Floating Enquirers to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Analyze and compare quotations received at bid stage and clarifying exclusions/qualifications within.

POST CONTRACT STAGE

• Preparing and agreeing payments applications/valuations so that payment is received in accordance with the terms of the contract conditions; Works progress.
• Maintain logs for claims and thereby agreeing variations/change orders.
• Preparing and compiling variation claim document with all relevant substantiation to the satisfaction of the Manager/Employer.
• Prepare and Compile Final Accounts Payment application with relevant substantiation and documents as per contract obligations.
• Analyze and Recommend Subcontract payment application based on actual progress of Scope of work.
• Attend progress meetings and provide updates to Client with projection of costs as required; Visit Site as and when required to monitor progress, Preparing Payment Application / progress payment claim against Value of Work done for measured works, Variations/Change orders, Material On-Site/Off-Site, Fluctuations, Special payments in accordance with contract;
