MARK FALLON

I am a well-organised and motivated teacher specializing in age group 6 to 12 years looking for my next teaching opportunity. I am looking to build on my prior experience working within year 2, 3, 4. and 6 and continue my professional development by working in a dynamic team to develop my teaching experience and have the opportunity to take an active role in school responsibilities. I have managed various sporting teams to county finals as well as managing our school choirs throughout multiple concerts and events.

• I have worked collaboratively with external educational organizations and specialists such as SENNIT, Speech and Language therapists and educational physiologists in supporting the needs of complex students within my class
• Working to create a classroom that is visually communicative for children with complex processing needs in addition to refining my practice and delivery of lessons
• A strong belief towards good etiquette and relations with Parents, I successfully planned and led various parent sessions in which parents feel more included and aware of key information about the school year
• These included sessions such as the ‘Welcome to Year 4', ‘Homework Club' and ‘Mindfullness'
• The feedback from parents and children after these events was positive and parents felt that this had given them a detailed perspective on what to expect for their children's learning journey within my class
• In my previous role in Ireland, I was the curriculum coordinator for PE and Music
• In charge of liaising and organizing Sport Day events, organising concerts and shows and preparing resources for different key stages
• EAL practice and experience within the classroom environment and delivery.
