Air chiller maintenance

· Inspection- compare its document and tag against the actual unit received and confirm on the capability list. Performed visual check on the unit for any obvious external damage.

· Troubleshooting and fault isolation- conduct electrical test and inspection on wire harness for any chafing, burn or crack. Extract run time and fault data from the unit and analyze. Apply leak check procedure if applicable. Run the chiller and confirm any fault from the figures obtained and develop findings and conclusions.

· Shop finding report- justification of findings through data analysis, recommendations and requisition of parts.

· Repair- de-pressurization, disassembly, cleaning, replacement of damaged or worn-out parts, assembly, vacuum and charging.

· Compressor repair- includes removal/replacement of rotor and pump. MI33482-203 and MI33482-205 series.

· Performance test- ensuring the unit is at its utmost performance (producing cold air by adjusting its superheat through the TXV position). Compressor and fan motor temperature are within normal range. Current drawn should be below the limit. Any abnormal noise must be observed and addressed. Safety features and parameters of the unit are in working conditions (thermistors, overheat, overcurrent and overpressure sensors).

· Final Assembly- complete and final installation of parts, attachments and accessories for final inspection and release.

· Documentation- logging, repair report, work package, bill of materials, test sheets, certificate of release etc. See to it that steps mentioned are IAW the applicable manual. Maintained a safe work environment by strictly adhering to established company safety protocols and guidelines. Maintained compliance with regulatory standards and safety requirements.
