Main areas of responsibility To delegate duties each day to eyewear staff inside Maraya and follow up on all
operational tasks to make it completed
To ensure that all merchandise is displayed according to the principle's standards with
the coordination of the Visual Merchandising Supervisor & the Store Manager
Monitor the performance of particular products and advise the Division Manager of
any slow moving items that needs to be promoted
Attend company & principles training sessions with the view of taking an active part
in passing on the knowledge to staff
Ensure that staff is kept up to date on all suppliers/brands updates - e.g
New brand
launches, new after-sale policy procedures, ..etc
To ensure window displays are kept fresh and updated with principle calendar
To assist the Division Manager in the purchasing process and give inputs while
preparing the buying budgets based on his analysis/feedback received from the
customers as well as the market demands
To control marketing/PR and promotional material expenses
To monitor inventory by ensuring regular stock check in conjunction with the
Division Manager.To follow up with operations department the operational issues related to the eyewear
section (e.g
Maintenance, duratrances installations, etc.)To report to the Division Manager on all defective items received in the new stock; in
the meantime to act actively in regards to the customers complains and all issues
related to the after-sale services
To follow up with the Warehouse when a new shipment arrives and report any
discrepancy found upon the receipt of the goods
Go over various sales & stock analysis and assist the Division Manager in reviewing
his product performance
Assist in implementing any seasonal/promotional Campaign and participate with the
Division Manger in formulating new strategies to phase out the old or ageing stock in
such way that improves the sales
Organize schedules, shifts & day-off for the staff
Monitor staff attendance and report any violence to the division manager
Assure the staff appearance is in line with company standards & polices
Give on field trainings on product knowledge, merchandising, sales techniques and
grooming
Prepare a strong customer database to help in creating solid database and loyal
customers
Maintain good relations with loyal customers and corporate clients.
