  • Supervise the preparation & approval of monthly & annual financial reports in compliance with IPSAS, including the statement of Financial Position, Statement of Financial Performance, and Cash Flow Statements.
  • Supervising the closure of financial tracks (Accounts Payable - Accounts Receivable) in government resource planning systems for all accounts through monitoring and follow-up of anomalous balances and guidance to prepare corrective entries to address those balances.
  • Supervise the updating and implementation of procedures and policies for the financial operations of the Accounts Department in the Authority in cooperation with external partners (suppliers and beneficiaries of benefits) in order to achieve compliance and ensure that services reach beneficiaries according to entitlements.
  • Approving internal and external settlement reports with relevant committees and departments and external parties in order to ensure accurate data.
  • Bank credit for the disbursement of periodic financial benefits in beneficiaries' cards and lump sum financial benefits, which include the benefit of temporary housing, the benefit of preparing housing and the benefit of people of determination in the accounts of service providers, and the issuance of new cards for beneficiaries of financial benefits in order to disburse payments to those entitled to them in accordance with the targeted operational indicators.
  • Approving the posting of revenue entries and approving their registration in the government resources system by matching them in the accounting records.
  • Supervise the management of accounts, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and approve the correctness of information in the general ledger through adjustments of accounting entries in the unified government resources system.
  • Follow up the requirements of the annual inventory of fixed assets, review inventory adjustments, and supervise the adjustment of balances as necessary.
  • Supervise the conformity of the fixed assets register and approve the correction of differences, if any.
  • Supervising the validity of accounting operations between local departments in accordance with the procedures adopted in the approved government systems.
  • Supervise the disbursement of the incoming Zakat Fund and community contributions from various entities.
  • Supervise the closure of accounts and prepare the monthly trial balance and related financial reports.
  • Manage the preparation of final accounts (balance sheet, income statement and financial flow statement) by reviewing the accounting operations in the financial records.
  • Analyze deviations in revenues from the budget compared to previous years and submit corrective recommendations to the Director of the Department.
  • Approving the monthly trial balance for the Authority's activities after matching the balances in the financial records.
  • Review and approve tax reports for payments, receipts and VAT supporting reports before submitting them to the Internal Audit Office for final approval.
  • Approve and submit periodic reports and financial statements to the Director of the Financial Affairs Department regarding the Accounts Section and the specialized departments in the Authority and external bodies to support decision-making.
  • Comply with the information security policies and procedures approved by the Authority and work to comply with the controls to ensure the confidentiality of information.
  • Any other tasks or competencies within the scope of the responsibilities of the job.
