  • Being an Assistant Sales Manager at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, I was tasked to oversee all MICE/Group business via DMC's based in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, along with specializing in the Pharmaceutical sector
  • I was assigned to implement new strategies in promoting sales along with keeping a competitive awareness of all offerings via our competitors
  • Proposals and Contracts were handled by myself in order to get the most value when it comes to negotiations which helped the company achieve the high revenue targets set by our stakeholders within each quarter.

Key Performances

  • Achieved a healthy revenue within the first three months in the company producing AED 720,000 for the banqueting department as well as guestrooms.
  • Managed to confirm a large pharmaceutical group for the month of February 2020 occupying 95% of the guestroom inventory for 4 days as well as constant supply of Food and Beverage revenue through restaurants and banqueting
    areas.

  • We are placed in a high paced environment maintaining a competitive awareness of all offerings, including offers, promotions and competitor trends whilst delivering high quality service and ensuring that all hotels meet their standards and objectives applied by all stakeholders
  • As a trusted sales executive, I was also tasked in conducting trainings on Delphi, site inspections, and creating running orders for VIP site inspections creating a lasting experience for all guests coming into all properties.

Key Performances

  • Converted a total value of AED 3,065,000 for Q1 2018 alone surpassing superiors on the same quarter.
  • Being tasked to solely manage key accounts within the Jumeirah Group, I managed to secure a highly needed booking just prior the close of Jumeirah Beach Hotel on event space at a value of AED 1.1 million for 1100 guests.
  • Last minute conversion of a booking worth AED 1.3million in March 2018 on event space alone.
  • Securing future pace business, notably with a key exhibition organizer worth AED 1.2million. With the same organizer and being tasked to take on their account, I have managed to secure 5.4 million stretched across all properties
    in 2018.
  • Organized a successful site inspection involving all key departments within Madinat Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab for potential business in September 2019. Group was worth of AED 800,000/- on guestrooms alone with notable
    increase in benefits towards our F&B outlets being an incentive group.
  • Trainings attended within Jumeirah Train the trainer, Leadership Training, Who moved my Cheese, Ciara Training (professional service on how to plan and
    execute a customized proposal).
