• I developed customer service skills while working here, through working behind the tills and engaging with customers and making sure their needs were met. I learned to work under pressure during the busier times and when we were short staffed.
• I was promoted to gold step-up. This involved assisting junior members of staff with their daily duties. Backfill any managerial tasks as required some of which were on‑shift and end of day cash control and banking procedures, engineer callout's for our POS equipment in the event of faults, and assist both customers and members of staff to elevate their in‑store experience, whilst delivering stellar customer service and a positive working environment for colleagues. This helped me gain leadership skills.
