• Follow the layout of merchandise plan.
• Know the Competitor actions and make reactions.
• Promote the discount image in the section.
• Ensure quantitatively and qualitatively the assortment defined in the section.
• Optimize the purchasing plan for the seasonal and promotional events in the department.
• Ensure that the lay out facilitate the choice of the customer.
• Ensure competitiveness and the expected margin levels.
• Ensure the stock level according to the budget.
• Ensure the respect of the budget/ forecast and take corrective measure when necessary.
• Ensure the proper conversation, utilization and profitability of the depts. assets.
• Stay informed about competition activities in the store and take necessary measures.
