Duties and Responsibilities
Entirely responsible for ordering from overseas/local, clearing and delivering the shipment/goods to the company’s warehouse or any other given client’s locations.
Co-ordinate /work with shipping lines, Freight forwarders and making sure to get best cost-effective rates and least transshipment time for the shipment we book.
Responsible for forecasting and costing expenses related the department informing sales and finance teams accordingly.
Knowledge of customs allowances, acceptance, restrictions and regulations with regard to it equipments.
Regular monitoring and following up with respective forwarders/ Shipping lines/ Clearing agents for the shipments in transit and customs clearance and pushing them to get the work on timely manner.
Complete knowledge in handling FCL, LCL, courier and air freight shipments from any location from the world.
Assisting and advising overseas sellers/suppliers on operations and documentations issues.
Following up with overseas & local sellers/suppliers and making sure production and order is ready on time.
Preparing reports, planning budgets, setting distribution schedules, and making purchasing decisions based on estimated consumer demand, sales data, and industry knowledge.
Handled negotiations with outside vendors and service agencies to meet group needs.
