Ensure proper assigning of the cranes (crane split) for vessels as per the Cargo Distribution (Stowage) with optimum utilization of Equipment and without crane proximity, Ensure Planning Team prepares final stowage plan and handing over all required attachments like Final Stowage plans, Final Load List, Terminal Departure Report, etc., to Chief Officer and to the Vessel Agents., To reduce turnaround time and increase productivity by maximizing crane intensity., To minimize vessels’ turnaround time., To utilize vessels’ maximum capacity both for laden and empty containers., To achieve Good stow plan and reduce handlings with co-ordination with Cargo, Epos and Network., Sending discharging/loading instructions to all scheduled ports and keep monitoring all operational matters by coordinating vessel’s command/terminal & respective agents., Monitoring the vessel performance in speed and consumption, crane productivity & speedup operation to sail the vessel early and arrive early, Liaise with the vessel operators to ensure smooth and efficient operations as well as to understand and manage their requirement., Manage and lead team in order to achieve KPI’s and targets as set by the operations management team., Understanding of vessel stability criteria and whether intended load plans meets those criteria. Train and coach Junior Planners in planning and problem solving., Ensure effective communication with the shipping line’s central planning, To follow all safety regulations while working in the terminal area and to address person’s they encounter who are not complying with terminal safety regulations., Planning to berth the vessels along with keeping agents informed about vessel berthing time as well as the sailing also., Making all vessels reports (weekly & monthly) and forwarding to the concerned., Calculating operators performance to get their productivity
