As a Proposal Engineer , following are the responsibilities;

  • Hands on experience on eBusiness Portals and SAP Ariba for customers like SAUDI ARAMCO, SABIC, SASREF, SAMREF, SEC, SIPCHEM, SADARA, SATORP, S-CHEM, PETRO RABIGH, LUBEREF, TASNEE, YASREF.
  • Responsible for Complete Proposal ownership during Pre-Proposal and Post-Proposal Phase Submission Phase.
  • Responsible for Bid/No-Bid discussions and future opportunities.
  • Study of Tender Documents, meeting with client during proposal phase, raising Technical & Commercial Queries and Clarifications to Clients.
  • Pre-Bid coordination with Many OEMs/Suppliers like Ametek, Durag, ThermoFisher, Emerson, E & H, ICON, Neo Monitors, MKS Instruments, ABB, Servomex, Teledyne, Yokogawa etc.. and Laboratory OEMs/Suppiers like Agilent, Mettler Toledo, Shimadzu, DCI Corporation, Particle Matrix etc..
  • Calculate direct and indirect cost for the complete project including coordination with other departments for their technical and commercial inputs.
  • If require schedule a site visit with our engineer to understand the site conditions before submitting our bids.
  • Responsible for Direct & Indirect Costs Estimates (man-hour, manpower, duration, materials and equipment).
  • Responsible to raise the technical queries to customers if any technical clarifications are required.
  • Preparation of technical and commercial bids as per the end users requirement.
  • Submission of bids in Portals/SAP Ariba before closing dates.
  • Respond timely and accurately to customers queries and technical clarifications on RFQs.
  • Follow-up with end user to get orders for submitted bids.
  • Negotiate Prices and Payment Terms with OEMs/Suppliers once we award the contract.
  • Provide timely summary to Manager to assist in bid decision.
  • Validated sales orders before acknowledging receipts issued to customers.
  • Worked on LSTK Projects for reputed customers like SAUDI ARAMCO, SABIC, SASREF, SAMREF, PETRO RABIGH, SCHEM.
  • Worked on Pre-Bid Technical Queries and Post-Bid Technical Queries with clients.
  • Ability to design the SCS/SRS based on the customer requirement and the performance of the analysers.
  • Easily identify the customer requirements with the complete sow and existing drawings.
  • Interfaced with clients to manage expectations and resolve emerging issues.
  • Maintained records of raw materials, drawings and purchase orders for reference purposes.
  • Communicate with the internal team to get the latest status projects.
  • Coordinating with OEMs/Suppliers to deliver the material on time.
  • Schedule a site visit for installation and commissioning.
  • Maintain a complete work report and represent monthly once to top management.
