  • Conduct Training Needs Analysis of all ATCA and Briefing staff on an on-going basis.
  • Manage, design, develop and deliver technical training programmes that address the staff training needs as per the ATCA and Briefing UTP and National and International Standards.
  • Monitor and evaluate ICAO and GCAA regulations regarding operational procedures and provide training and familiarization for procedural changes when appropriate as per the UTP.
  • Deputise and cover TL duties during his absence.
  • Manage the ATCA and Briefing OJTIs and LCEs. Complete all OJTI and CoC reports and tasks as specified in the ATCA and Briefing UTPs and LCS.
  • Coordinate as required with Safety and Standards to carry out remedial training required as a result of competency assessments.
  • Attain and maintain Operational competencies at both airports in accordance with ATCA and Briefing competency manuals as per requirements for maintenance of unit competency.
  • Maintain an updated knowledge of technological developments with the ATCA/briefing and Training and standards environments.
  • Ensure a continuous operation with respect to ATC and Briefing environment through liaison with the operation Managers when required to carry out OJTI on operational equipment.
  • Continually grow professional skills and knowledge in line with the needs of the business, whilst also benchmarking within and outside the industry to stimulate ideas for change and professional growth.
  • Deliver Training to ATCO NDPs, AMD and external ANSPs.
  • Design and write OTS SLAs, ATCA and Briefing UTPs and LCS manuals.
  • Conduct training needs analysis across dans to identify, define and monitor the continuation and professional development requirements.
  • Liaise with external suppliers for CPD and development programmes activities.
  • Research and evaluate different CSR bodies. Plan, execute, supervise and follow up all CSR projects & awareness.

AIM (Aeronautical Information Management) Training Specialist

  • Deputise and cover AIM Manager during his absence.
  • Continuously monitor and identify AIM personnel technical training and professional development needs.
  • Plan, manage, and implement personnel technical training programmes. The role holder will be required to adopt a continuous improvement strategy to enable the most cost effective and customer focused processes and principles are deployed in technical areas.
