• Checking and reviewing all shop drawings, coordinated/composite services drawings and material appraisals in line with the project specifications, E&M design, architectural & structural drawings and incorporating the engineer comments for obtaining final approval
• Issuing RFI(Request For Information) to the engineer (consultant) for his approval as per site conditions installation, coordination with building section (civil works)
• Reviewing all design changes, monitoring and approving variation work orders for sub-contractors
• Planning and scheduling material deliveries and monitoring the overall work progress against the approved work program and look-ahead schedules and preparing weekly project report for the management meeting
• Serve as a company representative on regulatory issues
• Enhance the operational procedure, systems and principles in the areas of information flow and management, business processes, enhanced management reporting and looks for opportunities to expand systems
• Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
• Produce pro-forma invoice and follow-up on enquiries, quotation, payment and delivery of goods Produce a comparison document between our products against our competitor Lead project engineer and guidance on installation issues

Project QA/QC activities like:

• Maintaining proper documents filing as per the company quality ISO procedure system
• Installation & material inspection requests
• Mockup installations
• Pressure/gravity/insulation tests
• Monitoring installation/workmanship, safety, quality and overall housekeeping
• MEP clearances
• Snagging list and rectification
• Method statements & O&M manuals
• Testing & commissioning manager for all the related E&M installation and equipments as per the project quality policy & procedures
• Arranging and attending scheduled meetings with:- E&M and building section staff/subcontractors/the engineer/company management as required and scheduled to ensure adherence to the planned or programmed works with company quality and HSE policies to Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace

• Obtaining and studying project design details, drawings, documentation and commenting if changes any as per the standards
• Responsible for the consultant and client’s approval by submitting and obtaining approval of project Pre- qualifications, Materials submittals, Shop Drawings, follow up the purchase departments for the material delivery, raising inspections for the materials for the consultant approval, deploying installation teams and completing the job within time constraints considering and following all the life and safety protocols for healthy and safe work environment
• Prepares Inspection (RFI) of work according with consultant.
• Prepares all document related to the testing & commissioning of the system.
• Prepares shop drawing and as built.
• Plan and execute the project and make sure all the deadlines are met within the time constraints
• Responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site.
• Estimates, prepares and assigns the resources such as manpower, materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution.
• Micro monitoring and follow up with the teams and assisting them for system/installation related problems/queries and taking quick decision on site
• Coordinating with the design dept. for material/drawing submissions and obtain approvals as per the regulations of the relevant local authorities and service providers like: DUBAI Municipality, DEWA, DUBAI Civil Defense, DU & ETISALAT TECOM …etc
• Testing and Commissioning of the all the Electrical materials and Equipments installed at site and prepare the inspection for the consultant and obtain approval
• Making sure all the supply and installation certifications are ready for th DEWA & DCD inspection
• Responsible for Project documentation
• Direct reporting to project manager regarding projects updates and keeping him in the loop always
• Making sure all the documents, certificates and drawings are ready for the DCD inspection
• Attending the DEWA & DCD inspection with Govt. officials, client, consultant and all the sub-contractor to obtain the approval

• Assisting the project manager in delivering the project to the specified quality, time and budget in accordance with the company quality standard procedures

DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES: Mechanical & Electrical Engineer, Conducting Civil Defense Inspection for Fit-out & AMC contracts

• Site inspection and material inspection as per standards
• Work in accordingly with NFPA, UAE Life and Safety\Codes Fire Protection System
• Analyzing design data/documents and process them up to working environment
• Further verification of the system design with existing site condition, commenting if any, have knowledge in estimating fire protection requirements
• Expert in installation, maintenance & rectification of different types of addressable & conventional fire alarm systems (such as : GENT, SIMPLEX, EDWARD SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY, ESSER, HONEYWELL, TYCO, BOSCH, ZETA, TEROFIRE, APOLLO, SHIELD, FIREX and all other brands & all conventional systems)
• Expert in fit-out, installation, maintenance & rectification of “Central Battery System and Fire Suppression System”
• Excellent knowledge of the installation of firefighting system like fire pumps, fire hose reel, landing valves, hydrants, all types of fire extinguishers etc as per local civil defense rule and NFPA standard
• Proven abilities to check and control the status of fire alarm system & fire fighting systems. Problem tracing in the system & solving them make sure the system is healthy and working condition before leaving the site
• Checking and testing the cause and effect matrix to make sure there is always a rescue plan in the building in case of emergency occurrence and commenting if required to make any changes/modification in the system to save people
• Giving prompt and effective attention to emergency call received during and after work hours
• Supervising the team to be more productive
• Installing and maintaining all companies’ products in commercial and residential facilities
• Educating client about system by conducting the technical training to operate and control system in an emergency until our emergency team arrives
• Completing necessary documents as per the company policy.
