Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Developing a Lay out for the Procurement of goods, services, and supplies
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.
  • Work to achieve the best possible pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
  • To begin with procurement strategies and selecting vendors upon receipt of RFP's, and issuing Orders in accordance with specification required.
  • Requesting for the quotations from approved vendors, preparing a price comparison sheet to ascertain the best prices.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with the procurement process.
  • Obtaining necessary approvals from the Authorized Individuals to process the Orders
  • Maintaining appropriate records to ensure that Procurement process, Decision and Approvals are accurately Filed for Accountability and Internal & External Audits
  • Ensure that all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies.
  • Stay updated on changes in legislation that may affect procurement practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchased goods and services meet quality standards.
  • Analyze market conditions to make informed decisions regarding procurement strategies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as finance, operations, and project management, to understand their procurement needs.

Additional Duties & Responsibilities (Export/Imports):

  • Negotiating with Freight Forwarders for better price, for the overseas/Import orders.
  • Monitoring minute details of the overseas orders and the development until the goods are received at the Port/Airport.
  • Monitoring overseas shipments (Imports) by coordinating with inbound logistic team.
  • Preparing the basic Requisite for Export like preparing the Packing list and Commercial Invoice to apply for COO/Export Documents for the customs.
