· Key role in documentation/ Surveillance audit of QCI Ready Mixed Concrete Plant Certification Scheme (RMCPCS) for RMC Capability Certification.
· Key role in documentation/audit of Integrated Management System ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.
· Monitoring QC Lab testing as per the frequency of ITP (Inspection and Test Plan).
· Submitting mix design and mix cost to the sales person as per client requirement.
· Technical advisor to the customer regarding opting for durable mix, mix optimization.
· Conducting concrete lab trial in witness of Client/PMC and as well as submitting for approval.
· Vendor management for proper quality of raw material, visiting quarry.
· Weekly training to labor/FT/LT for quality/safety/housekeeping.
· Attending and handling customer complaints.
· Labor and staff management on site for smooth progress of work, preparing weekly duty schedule.
· All QC documents tracking like monthly concrete rejection report, monthly QC report etc.
· Quality Control: All three components of quality control of concrete, i.e., Forward control, Immediate control & retrospective control. It including pre-pour preparation, raw materials and concrete tastings as per specifications, storage, maintenance, calibrations, analysis of strength and modification in the mix.
· Checking of shuttering & reinforcement work according to drawing.
· Final checking with RCC & architectural consultant
· Co-ordination with RCC consultant, architect, service consultant, junior engineer, Contractor, site supervisor & foremen.
· Raw-materials & product quality check- Testing of raw materials.
· As per specification, i.e., cement, fly ash, GGBS, chemical admixture, water, fine and coarse aggregates, reinforcement steel and other construction material etc. Also, fresh properties of concrete- workability, density, yield etc.
· Analysis of strength data and determining standard deviation, Coefficient of variation etc. and modifying the mixes accordingly.
· Monthly and quarterly reports submission and preparing.
· Quality objective, risk and opportunity, Cost of poor-quality data, Customer feedback etc.
· Conducting internal audits and reports submission and monitoring corrective action.
· Durability Testing i.e., RCPT (Rapid chloride permeability test), ISAT (Initial surface absorption), Water permeability, Water absorption etc. and other tests like MOE (Modulus of elasticity), Shrinkage test, setting time of concrete by Penetrometer etc.
· A detailed knowledge of Non-destructive tests- Rebound hammer, Ultrasonic pulse velocity test etc. and core cutting test.
· Mix designing as per client's requirements and complying with IS 10262 and ACI 211 requirements.
· Successful trials and execution of up to M100 grades from plant (in Mumbai), besides supplying self-compaction concrete, permeable concrete, temperature control concrete, light weight concrete, fibre reinforced concrete, rapid hardening concrete etc.
· Coordination with contractor & staff for proper work as per planning
· Make pour card, checklist & DPR and making all paper work for client
· Mix optimizations through rigorous analysis and trials.
Checking of shuttering & reinforcement work.
Final checking with RCC & architectural consultant.
Raw-Materials & Product Quality Check.
